Bellach Camping trip September 2005

In September we went camping near Biel and Solothurn in Switzerland. We started in Bellach, which is on the outskirts of Solothurn and follows the same river. From the train station, we walked up the hill towards the Jura Hohenweg. Once on the Hohenweg, we had a spectacular view of the river and the towns along it. We camped along the Hohenweg, and continued along the next morning, before descending back down into the valley, where we caught the train from Pieterlen back to Bellach station.

Julia tried out her brand new walking shoes on this trip. For the record: they are Scarpa Jura grade C walking shoes. They are very sturdy and I walk like a train over rough paths.
