Pieter's sisters Marjanne and Hanneke visit us for a one week vacation (yes, the crazy people waving in row 314). We kick off with a baseball match, the Yankees against the other team.
We visit some Amish farms (by Amish horse and carriage) and buy some Amish cookies. In the picture, an Amish farmer is doing some kind of (Amish) ploughing.
Spending the night in an original - built in the Great Depression of the 1930s - log cabin was something on Pieter's list. It's pretty cosy really, refrigerator beer and all.
One more night, before heading home. We stayed at the Marriott Fallsview Hotel at the 16th floor (bi-level loft) with a pretty good view on the falls. It's touristy but worth the trip; make sure you get wet.
