Julia jogging in the snow past a frozen lake and hibernating beavers in their dam (the big pile of sticks in the centre of the photo).
Julia visited a skiing resort in Vermont for work (ahum...). This gives an impression of the local mountains and ski lift.
Appreciate that Pieter risked his life to take this photo of route 46 in a snow storm...
By the time I got home, we had half a meter of snow! Luckily, our garage was on the leeward side and I could still get in.
Our letterbox is about one metre from the ground, and we were lucky to still be able to receive mail! Our letterbox leans because someone hit it earlier in the season when their car spun out of control in the icy conditions.
The next day, Pieter had the most beautiful commute of the year!
Julia poses with a candle in a local restaurant. Ummm, the food was good or something!
Pieter digs out the path in front of the house so that people can walk on the footpath again! It's a lot of work, digging through 70cm of snow!
These people gave up and left their car when they got stranded in the snow.
The upside was we could go snowshoeing in our back yard!
