We arrived in Sydney beginning of September. Luckily, Bryan and Alison picked us up from the airport (6am).
Julia always checks out the rabbit first!
It was a beautiful day, as is the view from Julia's parents' house over the harbour.
A small bouquet of flowers in the garden.
Peaceful view at the waterfront.
Amanda and Ian's baby Isaac takes a snooze in his pram. Don't babies always look so content when they sleep?
This bird seems to wonder what's hanging in the air there.
(Noisy) fruitbats in a tree in the Royal Botanic Gardens of Sydney.
Check out their current activities at http://www.rbgsyd.nsw.gov.au/
The operahouse in the evening sun.
This is a great place to chill out with a cool beer, or watch the ferries or power walkers on the pier.
Once more, because I can't decide which one I like more (probably the first one).
Same spot, same time, view on the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Bryan got a present from Emily, Lucy and Deborah.
It's a telescope!
While Bryan goes through the details of the manual, Lucy and Julia start of with the construction work.
Almost perfect, just a few pieces left over! Checking the manual once more.
It should work now. But proper testing is absolutely essential in science, so this step is not to be skipped!
Finally, star gazing can begin. One more test run on the neighbours!
From Julia's old bedroom, you have a nice view on part of Sydney's skyline.
On the other side of the house, you have an equally nice view on the Lane Cove River sunset.
